Ingredients:

1/3 cup of almond butter *

1 egg

1/2 tsp. liquid vanilla stevia *

3 ripe bananas (approx 3/4 cup)

1 cup of almond flour

1 tsp. baking soda

1 tsp. cinnamon

1/2 tsp. nutmeg (optional)

1/4 tsp. Himalayan salt

1 TBSP of organic matcha

Walnuts, pecans or pistachios for topping

Preparation:

🟡 Mash the bananas.

🟡 Mix all the ingredients with a spatula.

🟡 Place nuts on top of each muffin.

🟡 Bake at 350F for 25 to 30 minutes.

⚪ Makes 8 muffins.

Note:

* Adjust the stevia to taste and add vanilla extract if you don’t have the liquid stevia (I use the Now brand liquid stevia).

You can also replace the stevia with another natural sweetener of your choice or a little maple syrup.

* I use the rainforest nut butter which I love for this recipe.

Granola au Matcha / Matcha granola

Il y a quelques mois, j’ai fait du granola au matcha pour la première fois. C’était délicieux! Je l’incorporais soit dans mon bol de céréales, soit dans mes sortes de yogourt préférées, c’est-à-dire à la noix de coco et au sirop d’érable. Le granola au matcha est une recette simple et rapide!

Ingrédients:

1 ½ tasses de flocons d’avoine

1 tasse de mélange de noix (coupés)

½ tasse de flocons de noix de coco

¼ c. à thé de sel kasher

1/3 tasse de sirop d’érable

1 c. à thé d’extrait de vanille

3 c. à table d’huile de coco fondue

2 c. à soupe de matcha Thé Sakao

Préparation:

Dans un premier récipient, bien mélanger l’huile de coco, le sirop d’érable, l’extrait de vanille, le sel et la poudre de matcha.
Dans un autre récipient, mélanger les flocons d’avoine, les noix et les flocons de noix de coco.
Incorporer le premier mélange dans le récipient de flocons d’avoine. Bien mélanger.
Bien étaler sur un plateau à cuisson et le mettre au four pour environ 35 min à 350º. Remuer de temps en temps avec une fourchette.
Lorsque le granola est durci, le sortir du four et le laisser refroidir avant de le mettre dans un pot masson!

A few months ago, I made matcha granola for the first time. It was delicious! I would put it in my cereal bowl or in my favorite yogurt flavors which are coconut and maple syrup. Matcha granola is a simple and quick recipe!

Ingredients:

1 ½ cups of rolled oats

1 cup of mixed nuts (cut)

½ cup of coconut flakes

¼ teaspoon of kosher salt

1/3 cup of maple syrup

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

3 tablespoons of melted coconut oil

2 tablespoons of Sakao Tea matcha

Preparation:

In the first bowl, combine coconut oil, maple syrup, vanilla extract, salt and matcha powder. Mix well.
In another bowl, mix the rolled oats, nuts and coconut flakes.
Incorporate the first mixture in the rolled oats bowl. Mix well.
In a baking sheet, spread the mixture and put in the oven for around 35min at 350º. Stir occasionally with a fork.
When the granola is hardened, take it out from the oven and let it cool. Finally, store it in a mason jar!

Boules d’énergie protéinées au matcha et pistaches/Matcha and pistachio energy bites

J’adore boire mon matcha bien chaud, surtout à ce temps-ci de l’année! Cependant, j’ai découvert que cette légère poudre verte s’agence très bien à certains desserts. Je vous propose ici de petites boules d’énergie protéinées que vous pourrez manger en collation.

Boule d’énergie protéinées au matcha et pistaches

Ingrédients :

4 c. à table de beurre d’amande

2 c. à table d’huile de coco

1 c. à table de sirop d’érable (miel)

1/3 de tasse d’avoine

1 scoop de protéine vegan

2 c. à thé de matcha bio Sakao

1/2 tasse de pistache

5 dattes de bam

1 pincée de sel Himalayan

1/2 tablette de chocolat noir 85%

Préparation :

Placer tous les ingrédients (sauf le chocolat) dans le bol d’un robot culinaire. Bien mélanger.
Façonner les boules à la main.
Faire fondre le chocolat noir et enrober les boules entièrement ou verser en coulis.
Placer quelques pistache en décoration.
Conserver au frigo.

Donne environ 10 boules d’énergie.

I love to drink my matcha really hot, especially at this time of year! However, I have found that this light green powder goes very well with some deserts. Here is a little tasty protein energy bites recipe that you can eat as a snack.

Matcha and pistachio energy bites

Ingredients:

4 tbsp. almond butter

2 tbsp. coconut oil

1 tbsp. Maple syrup (honey)

1/3 cup oats

1 scoop of vegan protein

2 tbsp organic matcha Sakao

1/2 cup pistachios

5 bam dates

1 pinch of Himalayan salt

1/2 bar 85% dark chocolate

Preparation:

Place all the ingredients (except chocolate) in the bowl of a food processor. Mix well.
Roll into balls.
Melt the dark chocolate and coat the balls completely or drizzle on top.
Place a few pistachios as decoration.
Keep in the fridge.

Smoothie au Matcha et à la banane / Banana Matcha smoothie

Maintenant que le temps froid s’installe, je me suis dit que ce serait une bonne idée d’essayer de faire un smoothie au matcha. D’abord, nous bénéficions des éléments nutritifs des fruits et légumes, mais aussi ceux du matcha! C’est une excellente manière de renforcer son système immunitaire. J’ai toujours bu le matcha en tant que thé et en tant que latte, mais je n’avais jamais pensé à l’utiliser dans un smoothie!

De plus, si jamais on n’arrive pas à s’habituer à la saveur du thé matcha, l’incorporer dans un smoothie est une bonne manière de le consommer et de bénéficier de ses bienfaits sans vraiment en sentir le goût.

Les ingrédients (1 portion):

1 tasse de bananes (congelés) coupés
1 c. à thé de matcha Thé Sakao
1 tasse d’épinards
2 c. à thé de graine de lin
¾ tasse de lait d’amande
Moitié du citron (optionnel)

Si l’on désire un petit goût sucré, on peut rajouter de l’extrait de vanille, sirop d’érable ou autre. Après tout, ce qui est formidable du smoothie c’est qu’on peut toujours le personnaliser à notre goût!

Now that the colder weather is here, I thought it would be a good idea to try out a matcha smoothie. Not only we benefit from the nutrients of fruits and vegetables, but also those from matcha! It is a great way to strengthen our immune system. I’ve always drank matcha as a tea or as a latte, but it never occurred to me to use it in a smoothie!

If you’re someone that doesn’t really get used to the flavor of the matcha tea, adding matcha powder to your smoothie is a great way to benefit from the good things it has to offer without really having to taste it.

The ingredients (1 serving):

1 cup of sliced frozen bananas
1 tsp of matcha Sakao Tea
1 cup of spinach
2 tsps of flaxseed
¾ cup of almond milk
Half lemon (optional)

If you wish the smoothie to have a little sweetness to it, you can add vanilla extract, maple syrup or other. Afterall, the great thing about smoothies is that you can personalize it!
