Maintenant que le temps froid s’installe, je me suis dit que ce serait une bonne idée d’essayer de faire un smoothie au matcha. D’abord, nous bénéficions des éléments nutritifs des fruits et légumes, mais aussi ceux du matcha! C’est une excellente manière de renforcer son système immunitaire. J’ai toujours bu le matcha en tant que thé et en tant que latte, mais je n’avais jamais pensé à l’utiliser dans un smoothie!

De plus, si jamais on n’arrive pas à s’habituer à la saveur du thé matcha, l’incorporer dans un smoothie est une bonne manière de le consommer et de bénéficier de ses bienfaits sans vraiment en sentir le goût.

Les ingrédients (1 portion):

• 1 tasse de bananes (congelés) coupés
• 1 c. à thé de matcha Thé Sakao
• 1 tasse d’épinards
• 2 c. à thé de graine de lin
• ¾ tasse de lait d’amande
• Moitié du citron (optionnel)

Si l’on désire un petit goût sucré, on peut rajouter de l’extrait de vanille, sirop d’érable ou autre. Après tout, ce qui est formidable du smoothie c’est qu’on peut toujours le personnaliser à notre goût!

Now that the colder weather is here, I thought it would be a good idea to try out a matcha smoothie. Not only we benefit from the nutrients of fruits and vegetables, but also those from matcha! It is a great way to strengthen our immune system. I’ve always drank matcha as a tea or as a latte, but it never occurred to me to use it in a smoothie!

If you’re someone that doesn’t really get used to the flavor of the matcha tea, adding matcha powder to your smoothie is a great way to benefit from the good things it has to offer without really having to taste it.

The ingredients (1 serving):

• 1 cup of sliced frozen bananas
• 1 tsp of matcha Sakao Tea
• 1 cup of spinach
• 2 tsps of flaxseed
• ¾ cup of almond milk
• Half lemon (optional)

If you wish the smoothie to have a little sweetness to it, you can add vanilla extract, maple syrup or other. Afterall, the great thing about smoothies is that you can personalize it!
