Description
The leaves of this green tea are roasted at high temperature, which gives it a coffee colour and a pleasant nutty flavour. Due to the roasting process, Hojicha is very low in caffeine. This tea is perfect with meals and great to drink in the evening.
Preparation
1) Put 4 teaspoon (about 5g) of tea in the teapot.
2) Pour hot water (180ml) of 80-85 degrees into the teapot and let steep for 30 – 45 seconds.
Pour the tea little by little while alternating between cups so that the tea is equally distributed and its density is equal in each cup.
